I prefer to think he has a natural father, since in one email marvel sim, it was my PC. Hey, it's a weak reason, but still has way more karma than 'marketing tie-in of the week'. I mean, what's next, Disney buys Marvel, and we find out his father is Archer the Gorgonite?

I don't know any official Marvel line (and I'm VERY not up to date), but I think Kurt's sire is a character yet to be introduced.

And also not all that important, since the 'coolness' of Kurt has never had anything to do with his parentage.

I agree. No offense to those who are interested in this topic, but I think a lot of the speculation about Kurt's parentage are just attempts to connect him with the big-name characters. I'd prefer to see him recognized for his own merits.
